Pci simple communications controller driver for vista download driver#
There is no driver selected for the device information set or element".
It says "theĭevice is not configured correctly (code 1). Took some advice and checked in device manager (in control panel/system), then clicked on Properties for the PCI simple communications controller (it's tagged with a yellow icon) to view the details. This is an Emachines T5088 with a 56K modem, Pentium 4 processor and I've tried running the restore/recovery disc, but still no luck. I'm a relative computer novice, and I'm fed up with trying to get this Vista computer going.
